Windows Live Messenger now connected with Facebook Chat
Since Tuesday, facebook users who also are using Microsoft's Windows Live messenger, will be able to chat with their Facebook friends in the said messenger.
Microsoft is the first to connect with Facebook in terms of chatting with contacts. This is an effort to make Windows Live Messenger more versatile than just being there as a messenger. Live activity feeds, video chat, and being a social hub will now be the features of the Windows Live Messenger making it more popular than ever.
The inclusion of Facebook Chat to Windows Live Messenger is an attempt to update the test versions of the messenger but this connection will take place not in all countries where people use the messenger. Microsoft made it available first in countries like United Kingdom, United States of America, Germany,France,Brazil, and Russia.
Potential bugs and performance alterations have been done in relation to the release of the beta last Tuesday. Users of the program Movie Maker are also now capable of uploading pictures instantly to Flickr. Geotagged photos on a Bing Map are now easily located by users of Photo Gallery.
Furthermore, there are other programs now being innovated by Microsoft that are deemed important. These include Windows Live Photo Gallery, Writer, Sync, Family Safety and Movie Maker. A "Wave 4" update took place last June making big alterations to facial recognition and other things that will further improve programs that allow photos to be edited.
Microsoft is now depending on the improvements on Windows Live since there have been no developments concerning upgrades to Windows 7 operating system. Developments for the Windows Live Messenger is a preparation for the holiday season.
A more improved beta is possible but there is no actual evidence that might lead to this since bugs have been fixed already by Microsoft. There are also issues when it comes to Hotmail but those are being addressed to as well.
