Vodafone UK to offer Blackberry Curve 9300
Smartphone available with a contract on a monthly plan starting at £25
Vodafone UK, the mobile phone carrier, has made the new BlackBerry Curve 9300 available for purchase for free upon the signing of a contract agreement on a monthly plan starting at £25.
The new device, also called the BlackBerry Curve 3G, was launched in a wider range of markets, which includes territories such as Malaysia and Australia.
According to promotional material from Vodafone, the Curve 9300 comes with features such as a big keyboard, GPS, 3G for faster web browsing and dedicated media keys and a new trackpad
Vodafone also claims that the new smartphone has a wide range of other functionalities that are meant to provide users an enhanced experience on the devices. Among the features are a full QWERTY keyboard, support for 3G networks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and built-in GPS navigation capabilities.
The BlackBerry Curve 9300 comes with a photo snapper on the back. The smartphone also has 256MB of internal memory in addition to a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.
The smartphone also has a battery that can last up to 270 minutes of talk time or up to 450 hours of standby time. The new device also has dimensions of 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm and weighs in at 104 grams.
"With the BlackBerry Curve 9300 in your hand, you can work efficiently even when you're away from your office. It integrates your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes - and synchronises with your PC, so you can stay fully up-to-date when you're out and about," said the wireless carrier.
