Rimuru prepares for the final battle against Clayman in "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2, Episode 48. The finale episode is titled "Octagram."

The stage is set for the last battle and Rimuru has his eyes set on defeating Clayman who has acquired a new power. The official synopsis of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2, Episode 48 reveals Rimuru will confront Clayman who has achieved awakening.

Rimuru is set to end the long-standing relationship with Clayman. The king of Tempest wants to become the Demon King in a real sense. The final battle of the season begins.

In Episode 47 of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2, Rimuru was mad at Veldora and asked him why did he appear at Walpurgis. Rimuru wondered if Veldora can come to him even without summoning him.

He told Veldora to deal with Milim but asked him not to hurt her because she was under Clayman’s control.

Meanwhile, Beretta expressed her desire to live in Tempest after serving Lady Ramiris. Rimuru told her that he needed to think about it. Elsewhere, Milim and Veldora sparred.

Clayman was fighting Shion and challenged him to go all out. Clayman was annoyed and launched the Marionette Dance attack against her. However, Shion destroyed the attack with just one strike shocking Clayman.

She mocked him and wondered if he was really all that special. Clayman warned her that his Marionette Dance will recover and attack soon, but to his surprise, it never did.

Rimuru appeared and explained that Shion’s sword is a Soul Eater. To counter the sword, Clayman launched his Demon Marionette.

“Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races,” the official series synopsis read, according to Crunchyroll.

Fans can watch "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2, Episode 48 on Crunchyroll. The episode will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles Tuesday.
