Supreme x Lacoste 2018 collaboration to release on April 19 Worldwide

Supreme and Lacoste are back with yet another capsule collection. The collaboration is the second for the famed International brands, following their partnership in 2017. The collection is expected to drop this week.

The new pieces will be part of the brands’ Spring/ Summer 2018 collection and will feature some classics in summer and pastel hues. The collection will also be a nod to the growing throwback trend of the 90s.

The collection will highlight reworked classics, including Lacoste’s famed tennis shirt. With Supreme being royalty in the streetwear scene, the wardrobe will also include pieces Supreme is best known for including hoodies, bucket hats, track pants, waist bags (fanny packs) and small shoulder bags.

News of the collaboration made rounds earlier this week but was not confirmed by both brands. It was only the 16th that Supreme made the release official on their Instagram account as well through emails with its avid consumers.

“Supreme has worked with LACOSTE on a new collection for Spring 2018.

The collection consists of a Wool Varsity Jacket; Nylon Anorak and Track Pant with printed 3M® Reflective pattern; Velour Half-Zip Track Top, Polo, and Track Pant; Hooded Sweatshirt, Crewneck Sweatshirt, and Sweatshort; Velour Bucket Hat, Nylon Camp Cap and Twill 6-Panel Hat; a Waist Bag and a Shoulder Bag.”

The collaboration is one of the many recent partnerships of the New York-based brand. Just last week, Supreme released its set of luggage in collaboration with RIMOWA. Streets in Los Angeles, California had to be closed down by police due to the great crowd who came out and lined up to cop the items. The red and black luggage, which retailed for as much as US$1,800, were quickly sold out. The Supreme and Lacoste collection is expected to draw in huge crowds to stores and sell out as well.

The Supreme x Lacoste collab release date is set for April 19 at their New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Paris, and London stores. The collection will also be available online on Thursday. The Supreme Japan stores will release the capsule on April 21, Saturday.

Supreme fans in Australia may have to wait for resellers online to get their hands on this much-anticipated fashion pieces.
