The identity of the Ghostface killer in “Scream: The TV Series” is expected to be revealed now that the finale of the pilot season is fast approaching. Most of the characters in the MTV series are likely to be the masked killer that targets Emma Duvall, played by Willa Fitzgerald, but Kieran Wilcox, played by Amadeus Serafini, and Sheriff Hudson, played by Jason Wiles, appear to perfectly fit in the category of most suspicious characters. “Scream: The TV Series” airs on Tuesday nights at 10/9c on MTV.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “Scream: The TV Series” spoilers.

“Scream: The TV Series” character Kieran Wilcox made it to the top list of potential suspects in a Zap2it report. Kieran is described as the mysterious new guy in Lakewood and in Emma’s life who could be following the footsteps of character Billy Loomis, played by Skeet Ulrich, in the 1996 film “Scream.”

Meanwhile, a Design & Trend report speculates that the romantic connection of Sheriff Hudson, Kieran’s dad, to Emma’s mom also makes him a suspect. Kieran and Sheriff Hudson could be using their relationship with Emma and Maggie Duvall, played by Tracy Middendorf, to gain control over the ladies.

As for the motive, the Ghostface killer hinted that the truth lies where the mask of serial killer Brandon James was made. Emma and Maggie Duvall are being targeted by the killer or killers because of Maggie’s strong connection to Brandon James since childhood.

The other “Scream: The TV Series” characters suspected of being the Ghostface killer are Jake Fitzgerald, English teacher Seth Branson, Noah Foster and Audrey Jensen. In episode 6 titled “Betrayed,” Audrey, played by Bex Taylor-Klaus, became a suspect in the Lakewood murders because her DNA was found inside the Ghostface mask.

Jake Fitzgerald, played by Tom Maden, is included in the potential Ghostface killer list for his dark behaviour in the show like blackmailing Mayor Quinn Maddox, played by Bryan Batt. Noah Foster, played by John Karna, and Audrey suspect that their English teacher Seth Branson, played by Bobby Campo, is the Ghostface killer.

Noah found out that the malware used to access personal computers was linked through their teacher’s assigned homework and Seth Branson is not his real name. Lastly, Noah’s knowledge on how a serial killer thinks also makes the character a possible suspect.

“Scream: The TV Series” episode 8 titled “Ghosts” will air on Tuesday night. The finale of the MTV horror series is scheduled to air on Sept. 1.
