Scrabble Dictionary adds thang and more
Street slang words like thang and innit have now been added to Scrabble Dictionary. Part of the list includes words grrl, cookery, keema, alu, and thousands more.
Aside from that, Wiki and Myspace have officially been added as reference for those who are playing Scrabble. Words like gak, tik, and tina have also been part of the list of approximately 3000 new words. Even Facebook as a social network company name is now part of the official list.
Some terms with their definitions are the following: bredren (brother), gobi (cauliflower), inbox (mail folder for incoming mail), innit (isn't it), nang (cool), and vlog (video blogging).
Interested people can buy the Collins Dictionaries that came out today. The recent publication is based in Glasgow and publishers say that it is so far the "most comprehensive Scrabble wordlist ever produced."
People can expect new words based on street language, phrases that are well-established, and the recent colloquial terms.
