Kinoshita Kazuya is returning with his graceful rental girlfriend, Mizuhara Chizuru in "Rent-a-Girlfriend" Season 2, Episode 1.

The second season of the rom-com anime is expected to showcase Kazuya and Chizuru’s relationship getting stronger. However, the series synopsis teases that Chizuru will reveal something shocking.

This revelation is likely to affect their blossoming romantic alliance.

"Rent-a-Girlfriend" Season 2 will also follow parallel storylines showcasing characters like Sakurasawa Sumi and Sarashina Ruka.

The cast of the anime includes Shun Horie as Kazuya Kinoshita, Sora Amamiya as Chizuru Mizuhara, Aoi Yuki as Mami Nanami, Nao Toyama as Ruka Sarashina, and Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakurasawa.

"Rent-a-Girlfriend" anime is based on Reiji Miyajima’s original work. The second season of the series is directed by Kazuomi Koga and the series composition is handled by Mitsutaka Hirota.

Kanna Hirayama is the character designer while Minoru Akiba is credited as the art director of the new season. The music is composed by Hyadain.

The opening theme song of the show is titled "Himitsu Koi-Goroko" (Secret Love Heart) and is performed by CHICO with HoneyWorks. The ending theme song is titled "lenai feat. Asmi" and is by MIMiNARI.

"Rent-a-Girlfriend" Season 2, Episode 1 is slated to premiere this Friday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the first episode online on Crunchyroll. The episode will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
