Rafael Nadal admitted he is in no hurry to win and just wants to enjoy tennis gain following his crushing loss against Novak Djokovic at the 2016 Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha.

Nadal failed to win his first title of the year after suffering a 6-1 6-2 defeat in the hands of Djokovic, who has now won five consecutive tournaments since winning the US Open last year. Despite the loss, the “King of Clay” is just happy he could still enjoy the sport following a forgetful 2016 season, when he did not won any major title for the first time in his 11-year career.

“I will wait for my moment,” Nadal said, reports Tennis World USA. “There is no hurry to win. My main urgency is to be happy and enjoy tennis.”

Nadal is also convinced Djokovic will drop his level of play at some point despite a flawless start this year. The 14-time Grand Slam winner said he will be ready to take advantage when that time comes, although Nadal admitted it is “difficult” to have chances against the surging Serb.

Nadal’s next tournament will be at the 2016 Australian Open where he gets to compete against the likes of Djokovic, Stan Wawrinka, and career-rival Roger Federer. Despite the mauling he had against “Djoker” in his previous tournament, the Spaniard is still positive about contending in the first Grand Slam event of the year at Melbourne Park next week.

"I'm playing much better. I'm feeling strong,” Nadal said, reports SBS. "I go my way and my way is really positive the couple of months, and I started the year well again and the Australian Open is an opportunity to continue competing well."
