Australian actress Ruby Rose hits back at critics for claiming she’s lying when she cancelled her shows due to sudden tonsillitis.

When Ruby Rose isn’t starring in the hit television series “Orange is the New Black” or appearing on big screen, she’s busy pursuing her passion in being a disc jockey. Rose had scheduled a 15-stop tour for the fans of her DJ performances but was forced to cancel a couple of shows due to tonsillitis. She was forced off the road and into a hospital bed. While there were people people who understood that she would need her voice to perform for her shows, there have been those who took to Twitter to ridicule Rose for backing out on her shows.

To this, Ruby Rose has responded to her haters with her usual boldness.

“Never let people make you feel bad for being sick and ALWAYS put your health first we have one life and one body. We are all human,” she posted on Instagram alongside a picture of a cup of tea and what looks to be a bowl of greens, as well as a tonne of cold and flu medication.

“Woke up in a bed of sweat. Dreamt I was in the sun getting too hot, then swimming ... Not the same was just over heating and laying in a wet bed. Send ginger, soup and my mother or someone else’s mother,” Rose wrote along with a pale selfie.

With three back-to-back action films in the work plus a scheduled tour, it’s no surprise that the brunette beauty is a little run down.

“I trained hard for 3 films and continue to train hard, more than ever in my life.. I’m fit (well before I got sick). That’s all,” tweeted Rose. “I don’t care what ‘people think’ but I wanted to clear it up for the fans. However you should know me by now. Off socials again while I rest.”
