The Santa Clara, California-based company said its GeForce GT 415M, GT 420M, GT 425M, GT 435M, GT 445M, GTX 460M and GTX 470M are 40 percent faster than its 300M series in rendering of HTML 5 or Flash video and 3D images to make Web browsing snappier, provide better gaming experience and allow Blu-ray 3D movie viewing, Nvidia spokesman Ken Brown said on Friday.

The new graphics processing units also uses its own power to extend CPU battery life and support DirectX 11, Microsoft's latest graphics technology included in the Windows 7 OS.

Nvidia is offering the new graphic cards to PC makers Acer, Asus, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung and Toshiba.
