December is here, and so are new indie games on Steam. With the huge amount of games being released on Steam every week, it can be difficult for other smaller titles to catch everyone's attention. Here to help is a list of recent or upcoming independent games you can check out for the first week of December.

‘Seven: The Days Long Gone’ – Developer: IMGN.PRO, Fool's Theory

Seven: The Days Long Gone” sees you playing as Teriel, a thief. It goes without saying that stealth is of the utmost importance in this isometric role-playing title.

What sets this game apart from others is the world it is set it. The prison island of Peh is open the moment you set foot it in. Players are expected to explore the open world, gauging if and when they are allowed to enter a particular area based on their skills. What’s more, they’re free to choose whatever playstyle suits them. Stealth or violence, it’s up to you.

‘Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest’ – Developer: Pavel Kostin

A dark hole is always bad news, and when one of these nuisances threatens a space engineer’s ship, it’s up to him to do something about it. “Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest” is a point-and-click graphic adventure game reminiscent of the classics. The pilot demo episode can be downloaded for free, so it may be wise to check it out and see if the game is your cup of tea (note: it most likely is).

‘Echoed World’ – Developer: Team DOTS

It may still be hours before the game is released, but “Echoed World” is shaping up to be a charming 2D platformer. Playing as a creature called Algiz, players must help him save the world by regaining his missing power. With hand-painted graphics, the game is recommended for fans of platforming puzzles.
