National Puppy Day is celebrated annually on March 23 to honor the cute furry friends, who bring abundant joy into our lives.

This unofficial holiday was first established in 2006. Dog trainer and author Colleen Paige founded this day to help more and more pups get rescued and adopted.

This day is an opportunity for all pet lovers to spend some quality time with the little ones. It can be celebrated by throwing a party for your pup, having a pup photo shoot, or even adopting a new puppy.
