Motorola XOOM comes out tonight
After Apple released iPad 2 just recently, Motorola is set to release its tablet tonight at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia with Telstra. The Honeycomb-powered tablet is expected to sell big in the country as consumers awaited for the unit since its launch in other countries.
Motorola XOOM has 1GHz nVIDIA Tegra 250 processor coming at a 10.1 inch discplay in high definition. It has 1GB RAM with front and back cameras (2mp and 5mp accordingly).
In an interview last month, Telstra executive director Warwick Bray said that the tablet arrives at a time when the country has embraced the Android technology.
""Motorola Xoom arrives at a time when Australians are embracing both mobile tablets and devices powered by Android in record numbers. Motorola Xoom's high-definition touch screen and powerful operating software will make it possible for more Australians to enjoy video, mobile web browsing, gaming and magazines on the go," Bray stated.
