Megan Fox and beau Machine Gun Kelly are always up to something, be it over-the-top PDA or making bold gestures for each other. Now, Fox has revealed that her daring VMA outfit was her boyfriend's idea.

Fox made heads turn as she walked the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards with Kelly, dressed in a barely-there outfit.

During a red-carpet interview with “Entertainment Weekly,” the “Transformers” actress was asked about her inspiration behind her style to which she joked "He was like, 'You're gonna be naked tonight,'" pointing to her rocker boyfriend. "I was like, 'Whatever you say, daddy!'" she said.

Fox also said she's "so proud" of Kelly for all he's accomplished, adding, "He's the most talented boy in the world."

The “Jennifer’s Body” actress wore a completely sheer custom Mugler midi dress from the Spring Summer 2021 collection, designed by Casey Cadwallader. It featured shimmery embroidery, which she wore with an embellished thong underneath. She accessorized her look with Lorraine Schwartz earrings and Jimmy Choo heels.

Meanwhile, Kelly dressed for the occasion in a custom, crimson patterned tuxedo which he paired with silver gemstone facial adornments and black dress shoes.

During the event, she was on stage with Travis Barker’s girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian to announce Barker and Kelly’s performance for “Papercuts.” While introducing them to the audience, she cheekily referred to them as “our future daddies.”

She even shared some of their pictures from the event on her Instagram with the caption “Daddy’s gonna win a VMA.”

During the pre-show, Kelly also talked about how he and Fox take turns with their looks for every event they attend.

"It's 50/50, this one she took the lead and I get the pleasure of having her on my arm all night," Kelly gushed, adding, "She's beautiful."

The fiery couple first met on the Puerto Rico set of indie thriller, “Midnight In The Switchgrass” just before the pandemic began. Though the production had to be halted due to the spread of COVID-19, the pair kept in touch and soon after their affair became the talk of the town.
