Massive Telescope Built By China Enough to Fit in 30 Football Fields
A video captured by a drone shows a massive structure in the southwestern province of Guizhou. It also shows that the structure lies on a bowl-shaped valley between several hills. The massive structure has a perimeter of about 1.6 kilometers and it will allow scientists and researchers to gather signals which are billions of light years away from the Earth.
China’s 30-football-fields big telescope is called FAST and which is expected to be completed in 2016. This is going to be the world's largest radio telescope.
