Mama June Shannon is so proud of rumored boyfriend Jordan McCollum’s progress in his journey to sobriety that she couldn’t help but cry after seeing his recent post on social media.

The 24-year-old TikTok influencer shared a new update on the short-form, video-sharing platform Wednesday to show his fans how much he’s changed in the past six months. In the clip he uploaded to the app, McCollum showcased a series of photos taken throughout the half-year period with some of them showing his lowest points.

“You may see a lot of pain in these first pictures, but all I see is a dead man, lifeless [and] there’s no pain left in his eyes. There’s no life … not wanting to [live],” he said in a voiceover at the start of the video.

As the clip progressed, more lively and cheerful photos of the TikTok star were shown and his narration also took a more positive turn when he mentioned how he managed to change his life for the better in the past six months.

“I’m proud of myself. I’m really, really proud of myself cause I’m happy. I’m happy as I’ve ever been in my entire life. I truly love myself. The best part is I only depend on myself to give myself that type of energy,” McCollum said.

Upon seeing his post, the 42-year-old reality star expressed in the comments that she got emotional while watching the clip because she was there throughout his journey, and she saw what Jordan went through.

“You got me crying … again Jordan cause I know what the 6 months have been for [you]. I’m so proud and I will be here always for [you]. You [are] doing amazing,” she wrote.

Mama June continued, “And I’m glad that I’m around to see [you] grow. [So] proud of you. I have to say that last month you have been the happiest I’ve seen you in months.”

The “Mama June: From Not To Hot” star also decided to upload a video on TikTok to talk more about McCollum’s progress and their relationship. Last month, Mama June already clarified that she and Jordan were never romantically involved and she insisted that they were just friends.

In her new TikTok update, Mama June shared that she and McCollum are still close and she’s happy to have been part of his sobriety journey. She also admitted that she did witness some of his slip-ups, but he is now “clean [and] doing amazing.”

Meanwhile, Mama June’s estranged daughter, Anna Cardwell, 27, previously reacted to Mama June’s rumored romance with McCollum. According to the former reality star, her mom could be wanting more than just friendship, while Jordan “just wants money.” “He’s been begging for money all over TikTok,” Cardwell added.

However, Mama June quickly shut down her eldest daughter’s assumption when she made it clear in another TikTok post that she’s not looking for love right now because she’s focused on “learning to love me first.”
