One day, a talking lizard appears before Yuuhi Amamiya. The lizard wants Yuuhi's esteemed service to save the world in "Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer" Episode 1.

Yuuhi turns down the lizard's request, but suddenly an enemy attacks him. The girl next door named Samidare arrives to rescue Yuuhi.

However, she is hiding a secret. In the preview trailer of "Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer," it is revealed that Samidare is a princess, while Yuuhi is a knight.

Samidare introduces him to the Biscuit Hammer that is hovering over the planet. Like the lizard, Samidare tells Yuuhi that they need his power to stop the Biscuit Hammer.

Yuuhi vows to be stronger than he is right now and aims to be Samidare's hero.

"One day, unremarkable college student Yuuhi Amamiya meets a talking lizard who asks for his help saving Earth from a crisis. Before he can refuse, Yuuhi is turned into a member of the Beast Knights and given a ring that gives him the psychic power 'domain control,'" read the official "Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer" synopsis, according to Crunchyroll.

"He is then immediately attacked by an enemy! But just as all seems lost, he's saved by the girl next door, Samidare. But it turns out Samidare isn't really a savior of any kind... she's actually a demon lord who wants to conquer Earth! Drawn to her absurd strength and evil charms, Yuuhi becomes her devoted servant and acts to support her wicked schemes," it continued.

"Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer" anime, directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi, is based on Satoshi Mizukami's original work. Satoshi Mizukami and Yuichiro Momose handle the series composition.

Hajime Hatakeyama is roped in for character designing, while Minoru Okochi is the art director.

The anime's opening theme song, "Gyoko," is performed by Half Time Old, and the ending theme song, "Reflexion," is by SpendyMily.

"Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer" Episode 1 is scheduled to air this Friday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. The installment will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.

The anime is titled "Hoshi no Samidare" in Japanese.
