Real Madrid's James Rodriguez admits on Sunday that there may be a chance that he will leave Real Madrid in January. He has never been a regular starter for Madrid.

James told reporters after the Club World Cup final that things are not going the way he planned it out. “I have had offers and I have these seven days to think well about everything. I want to stay, but you must think about everything. I cannot assure you what will happen, as I want to play more.”

After his team's defeat against Kashima Antlers in the Club World Cup final in Yokohama with 4-2, James expressed that he is not quite sure that he will still stay with Madrid. "I am happy in Madrid, but I want to play more. I have a bitter feeling as I wanted to play the final, but I am happy for the title. It's the 15th title in my career."

It was reported that the 25-year-old Colombian national spent the entirety of Madrid's Club World Cup campaign on the bench.

In the English national newspapers, it was

reported that Premier League leader Chelsea is interested in James. James might be a possible replacement for Oscar if the Brazilian goes to China. There are also speculations that James has been linked with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Arsenal.

James was one of the stars of the 2014 World Cup. He scored six goals in five games and got the Golden Boot award during the Colombia quarter-finals. Ever since he played with Madrid, he has scored 21 times.
