Apple, the technology company, issues a warning to manufacturers, saying that new covers for the iPhone 4 may cause the camera's flash hole to take pictures that are blurry or have color rings. The warning is bad news for iPhone buyers in Australia, who may have problems finding cases for the phones when it comes out later this month.

The issue only becomes apparent with camera use. The announcement is expected to affect makers of iPhone accessories in the country.

Belkin Australia was one of the first to announce "an extensive line up of new iPhone 4 cases and accessories" earlier this month. It is not known how many of the cases will have to be replaced prior to the iPhone 4's Australian release date.

In an interview with Smarthouse, Patrick Domingue, Belkin ANZ's managing director, says of the new products, "It will protect the new iPhone 4 no matter how it is used."

As of this time, Apple has not made any comments on the problem.
