Microsoft is about to release the beta of Internet Explorer 9 this September 15,2010. The program is still pretty vague when it comes to descriptions from Microsoft. Basically the best they are willing to divulge is that the new version will "not block the view". This hardly makes sense to an average user. However there are people who may say that IE is going to minimize its use interface giving the front window more view for the site. As revolutionary as it sounds, this is actually just the answer to what people have already been complaining about Internet Explorer for so long.

The main beef people have been having with Internet Explorer is that the tool bar can potentially fill up a third of the monitor screen with add-ons,search boxes, shortcuts, you name it. This supposedly helpful feature has made people detest Internet Explorer since it begins to look cluttered and with all the extra/ unwanted items. to make matters worse, the program is taxed with so much add-ons that it tends to crash every now and then. This makes users peruse other web browsing options like google chrome and firefox. The perfect comparison when facing google chrome with IE would be a regular car and a pilot's cockpit. With chrome the interface it is limited but organized. This gives a wider view of the webpage you browse on and with few add-ons. This program is less susceptible to crashing and consumes minimal processor memory.

Now to be fair to IE, it was a pioneer in web browsing. It started to make the world a smaller place by providing slow but sure connections to the other parts of the world along side the legendary dial-up modems. Funny thing though, as time passed the Internet connections got faster but IE was STILL slow. It really wasn't felt that much in the past because the best competition Explorer had back then was Netscape Navigator. Both are real relics that started something great. But as time passed the dangers of web browsing began to emerge. An explosion that started with viruses has now come up with mal-ware. Because the users began to share information, others began to think of ways to get that info and profit from it.

A side effect of this problem is the susceptibility of Internet Explorer to multiple spywares and viruses circulating the world wide web. Every time an add-on is allowed to be installed in your browser,it opens an opportunity for maliware to infiltrate your system since IE is allegedly exempted from a few safety measures from windows firewall. I may sound like a real anti-Explorer right about now but the problem I mentioned are common knowledge to almost every user in the web. In fact,Microsoft has provided it's own malicious software removal tool that unfortunately only provides temporary reprieve. As I said there are a LOT of spyware/viruses that constantly attack browsers using Internet Explorer. This is something that turns people off more that the interface problem. People simply cannot use a program already considered to be the primary target of malicious software. Nowadays we divulge very important information on the Internet. Data like credit card numbers, personal information and more are either required for businesses like paypal or personal reasons. Hence having lost the trust of many users, having a new version of IE will not be welcomed with open arms by the entire web community because chances are they are already quite happy with what they are using right now.

As the date of release for the beta version of version 9 draws near, people will have to once again think if they should risk using a browser with a relatively "tainted" reputation or will they just stick to what they are already using to do business with? What is it that IE can offer that will make people want to move? Well Microsoft created it's own antivirus and mali-ware program which is going to be made most likely to complement the use of Internet Explorer. The current antivirus program is both free for users with windows OS and is supposedly the best on the net when it comes to freeware. Although Microsoft has not made an official statement on the browsers dynamism with other Microsoft programs, the company has always made products that either complement each other or sometimes require the use of ONLY their products. Hence it is no doubt that the Internet Explorer 9 will be fully utilizing a lot of the features of the other Microsoft products.
