Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's relationship is more strained than ever amid their recent drama over their daughter Chicago's 4th birthday party, a report says.

The 44-year-old rapper, who now goes by Ye, alleged in a sneak peek of his "Hollywood Unlocked" interview Friday that Kardashian's security wouldn't let him into her house with their children as the reality star's current boyfriend Pete Davidson was over. West then dropped a diss track referencing Davidson and claimed on Instagram Live that Kardashian and her family didn't invite him to their daughter Chicago's birthday Saturday—only to be spotted at the bash in social media videos.

"Kim and Kanye are not on good terms right now. She's really trying to keep the peace between them for the sake of the kids," an unnamed source "close" to Kardashian told E! News.

According to the insider, the Grammy winner "was never not invited" to the birthday party , and the Skims founder was under the impression that West was throwing his own bash for Chicago.

Kardashian reportedly had no issue with her estranged husband coming to Kylie Jenner's home, where the party was held, and was "happy" that their children — North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago and Psalm, 2 — can see them together.

The insider also said the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum is being "neutral" toward West as she doesn't want any more drama.

However, Kardashian was "upset" that West continues to air their private family matters on social media and believes that he "still has full access to Kim and has no boundaries," the source said.

"She is over it," the insider added.

Another tipster told People that there's "a lot of drama" between the exes, who parted ways last year after nearly seven years of marriage, but that Kardashian has been doing her best to "ignore it all."

"She doesn't want the kids to know what's going on. It's all getting very complicated," the unnamed source added.

Despite West's claim that the Kardashians refused to give him the address of Chicago's joint birthday party with cousin Stormi Webster, photos and videos posted online showed him at the gathering talking to Kris Jenner.

According to a video of West later shared by "Hollywood Unlocked," the rapper got the details of the party from Travis Scott.

"I just got to shout-out to Travis Scott for sending me the address and time and making sure I was able to spend that birthday memory with my daughter, to be there with the rest of the family," he claimed in the clip. "I just saw everybody. Kris and [her boyfriend] Corey [Gamble] and Kylie—Kylie let me in, right when I got to the spot. Security stopped me once again when I got there."

However, Kardashian was reportedly shocked by West's claims as the plan was always to hold two birthday parties for Chicago, Us Weekly reported. In fact, the Yeezy founder reportedly took his kids from the party Kardashian threw to the one he was holding in his Los Angeles office, according to Page Six.

Another source also told E! News that West is free to see their kids. but it has to be arranged because Kardashian didn't like him showing up unannounced at her home.

"The kids have schedules and do well with structure. She wants to keep that in place and thinks it will help them with going back and forth between her and Kanye," the unnamed tipster said. "She wants to be able to let them know ahead of time what's going on so that they can make smooth transitions."

Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021. She filed court documents to become legally single last month.
