For the company’s spring 2016 line, Gucci presented a ‘No Makeup” look at the Milan Fashion Week. However, while the models’ faces appeared untouched, they surprisingly involved 11 products.

Glamour presented a face chart that showed how many and which products were used.

“The delicate shades of the Aristocratic eyeshadow duo create a modern, youthful, fresh makeup that lightly accentuates the models’ natural bone structure,” Gucci Cosmetics artistic director Pat McGrath said in the Glamour report. McGrath also created the intriguing look.

In the photo, the model’s skin seemed to be glowing. The highlight on the inner corners of the model’s eyes, as well as the one on her Cupid’s bow was placed strategically. The model’s lips seemed bare but had an elegant shade of pale pink that puts more focus on the face. It did not make the look appear washed out at all.

The 11 Gucci products are as follows:

· Gucci Silk Priming Serum

· Gucci Hydrating Eye Cream

· Gucci Perfecting Lightweight Moisturizer

· Gucci Lustrous Glow Foundation

· Gucci Luminous Perfecting Concealer

· Gucci Luxe Finishing Powder

· Gucci Sheer Blushing Powder in Nude Freesia (40)

· Gucci Magnetic Color Shadow Duo in Aristocratic (10)

· Gucci Infinite Length Mascara in Cocoa (20)

· Gucci Luxurious Moisture-Rich Lipstick in Carnation (305)

· Gucci Vibrant Demi-Glaze Lip Lacquer in Spring Rose (040)

Fashionista reports that the Gucci Spring 2016 fashion show had a familiar retro feel. Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele was reportedly inspired by a “Situationist dérive: the playful practice of crossing and exploring urban spaces.”

The collection presented obvious references to the 1970s, particularly with the wide availability of pussy bow blouses. Michele also kept the vintage smart girl look that he showcased last season. The colour combinations were quite unique, mixing pastel pink and pastel blue with black, red and lime green in certain instances. Overall, it was reportedly an unforgettable show.

The no-makeup makeup look is very popular not only in the fashion world, but also in Hollywood. Celebuzz reveals that although some celebrities prefer very light or nude makeup, there are some that do not even wear any at all, but still look great. Examples are actresses and models like Kirsten Dunst, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chrissy Teigen and January Jones, among others. Some would leave the house with only a light layer of foundation and lip gloss or pale lipstick.
