The first level of “GTFO’s” sixth Rundown might seem intimidating at first, but players will quickly realize that there is nothing much to worry about so long as they know what they’re doing.

Despite this, many players will still find the first mission somewhat difficult, especially if it’s their first time playing. While the hordes of dormant Sleepers within the excavation site might give players a run for their money, the mission can be completed by bringing the right tools and weapons.

Here’s a short guide on how to finish the Artifact 7 mission in “GTFO.”

Objectives

The main goal is to find the Matter Wave Projector located somewhere in the Complex. This is typically found in ZONE_80, but players are advised to use a computer terminal to ping the objective on their tracker.

Inside the first large cavern are multiple doors. One is connected to the rooms leading to ZONE_80, while the others contain Artifacts, resources, and enemies. A keycard will randomly spawn in one of the side rooms, and players must acquire it before moving forward.

Use the “LIST” command followed by the room name to find which room has the keycard. Grab it, then proceed to the first alarm-locked Security Door.

Bio-Scan Door Events

R6A1 has two bio-scan doors. The first one leads to Zone 78 and onwards, while the second leads directly to Zone 80.

The first bio-scan door is relatively easy; set up a sentry gun or two and point it toward whichever room has the keycard. Stand on the red circles on the ground until the scan is finished and clear out the remaining Sleepers.

The second door is more challenging since it contains two big Sleeper waves. Because of this, the Mine Layer and C-Foam Launcher tools are highly recommended since they can both eliminate large groups of enemies when used in tandem.

The Extraction Point

After grabbing the Matter Wave Projector, players will need to haul it to Zone 81 and hold their ground until the team is extracted. Set up as many mines and sentries as possible and try to spray C-Foam all over the floor to keep enemies at bay.

A sniper rifle can come in handy during this encounter as several large Sleepers tend to spawn. One clean headshot is typically enough to take these enemies out.
