Google Chrome 6 and Speed connection to Broadband
Last week, a new version of the Google Chrome was released as a beta. Changes have been made regarding the user interface of the Chrome but its main change was that it is faster to access websites through Chrome according to James Hawkins who is a Google software engineer .
The speed of Chrome to open web pages is said to have increased by 15%. However, one should put in to mind how this speed will take effect if the broadband connection of an individual is still the same? The situation is tantamount to expecting a race car to run fast on a very bumpy road.
Apparently, the speed may not be the biggest change that is set to appear in Google Chrome. The Autofill feature which is available in Firefox and Safari is now available in the new version of Chrome. The examples of information that are automatically filled on forms through the Autofill feature are telephone numbers, passwords, addresses, and educational background. This helps individual conveniently fill forms in the web. When it comes to credit cards, information stored in Chrome are secured privately unless a person decides to change its settings. Before storing information, Chrome will ask if you want to store that particular store.
Chrome 6 also makes it possible to change certain settings from any kind of computer. Examples of things you can customize in Chrome are bookmarks, preferences and themes.
Firefox 4 beta will be released by Mozilla on October, Intenet explorer next month, and by then, Google will have published Chrome 7 making it more advanced than other browsers. Google believes that always making improvements is crucial to the company's progress. This creates a big competition among other browsers who do not always improve the quality of their browsers. Through this, Chrome's success seems very promising.
