The Jonas Brothers’ dedicated Instagram account has been reactivated for the first time since remaining silent for about five years. Now fans are hopeful that members of the band will get back together.

Netizens can’t stop talking about the possibility of a reunion. Speculations started when the Jonas Brothers’ Instagram page was reactivated. Some fans, however, argued that the account has been active the whole time.

Whether or not there will be a Jonas Brothers reunion remains unknown. The band members, known for their glorious 2008-style flippy hair, are silent about the possibility of getting back together.

But people took to social media to express excitement, particularly when Ryan Liestman, the band’s backing musician, posted a photo with the brothers. He wrote “Family reunion” alongside the photo. The last photo update was on July 22, 2013.

In the comment section, a fan was requesting a comeback. Another suggested she was crying over an Instagram account.

“Shook is probably an understatement for how we are feeling right now- Did anybody think about the possibilities of another album or was that just me?” one Twitter user wrote. Others say it feels like a dream.

The timing of the potential Jonas Brothers reunion would make sense as the 10-year anniversary of the JoBros' third studio album called “A Little Bit Longer” is taking place this year. It released at the peak of their fame and secured the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

In 2013, Nick told PEOPLE they were stepping back to prioritise their family. The band split on the same year. “We’re choosing our family because it was becoming toxic.”

The brothers also opened up about their decision to split in an interview with “Good Morning America” on October 2013. Kevin said they feel like it was the time for the Jonas Brothers to end.

The band, consisting of Joe, Kevin and Nick, brought "Year 3000" and "Camp Rock" to fans. Since then, Nick has opted to become a solo artist and has dabbled in acting with the film “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” while Joe became part of the DNCE band. Kevin is married with two kids Alena, 3, and Valentina, 14 months.
