BTS has been confirmed to grace the "Good Morning America" 2021 Summer Concert Series and the group is likely to perform its upcoming single "Butter" in the show.

ABC's "Good Morning America" announced via its official social media pages Tuesday that the Big Hit Entertainment-formed group would be the first act in its star-studded lineup. So far, only BTS has been confirmed to be part of this year's event.

"Good Morning America Summer Concert" is an annual summer musical event organized by ABC's representative TV program "Good Morning America." It can be recalled that two years ago, the "Dynamite" singers also appeared on the prestigious concert series. BTS attended the "Good Morning America" 2019 Summer Concert Series, which was held at Central Park in Manhattan, New York. At the time, the septet performed their chart-topping tracks "FIRE" and "Boy with Luv."

This time, speculations suggest that BTS is likely to sing their upcoming new digital track called "Butter" in the summer concert series. Most, if not all, fans are aware that the group is set to release their second English-language song on May 21.

Meanwhile, BTS dominated this week's Billboard Top Album Sales Chart once again. Although the group's "Map of the Soul: 7" album fell outside the top 20, they claimed half a dozen spots this time around.

Other BTS albums that made it to this week's roster are "Love Yourself: Answer" at No. 56, "May of the Soul: Persona" at No. 49, "Love Yourself: Tear" at No. 48, "Love Yourself: Her" at No. 46 and "Be" at No. 37.

Apart from BTS, other K-pop groups also appeared on the said chart. ITZY claimed the 23rd spot with their new album titled "Guess Who?" while NTC secured the 30th spot with the "Resonance, Pt. 1" album. (G)I-DLE, for their part, nabbed the 54th spot with their new short set called "I Burn."

Blackpink also found a space on the latest Billboard Top Album Sales Chart. However, the group's "The Album" fell a few spaces to No. 60 this time. Just like BTS, the all-girl band has also spent several weeks on the tally.
