President Joe Biden will address the nation Wednesday in his first press conference in months. Biden is expected to touch on the Capitol Riots investigation, the response to the pandemic, and provide an update on voting rights legislation.

The news conference will begin at 4 p.m. ET. It will take place in the East Room of the White House. It comes just one day before his one-year anniversary as president. Biden will deliver his State of the Union address on March 1.

Biden has held just nine news conferences in his first year in office, compared to 22 from Donald Trump and 27 from Barack Obama at the same point in their terms.

Biden’s most recent speech was on Jan. 6, when he addressed the insurrection on the anniversary. He touched on the threats to democracy and how Trump has pushed unfounded theories such as “The Big Lie.”

In Wednesday’s speech, Biden is expected to go over a few different things. They may include the future of advancing voting rights legislation and efforts to contain the number of COVID cases.

There is also the 160-page filing by New York Attorney General Letitia James against Trump. The filing cites Trump for signing allegedly misleading financial statements. The statements allegedly show incorrect information about the worth of his properties in the Trump Organization portfolio and the value of his fortune.

Along with updates on the investigation by the House committee into the Capitol Riot. The committee issued subpoenas to Trump's lawyers on Tuesday about possible claims of election fraud.
