Amazon’s Prime Gaming is following through with its promise to give “Battlefield V” away for free following its previous “Battlefield 1” giveaway a few weeks ago.

Prime Gaming subscribers can get their free copy of “Battlefield V” by heading over to the Prime Gaming website and claiming the game directly from there. This will provide users with a 20-character redeemable code for Origin, EA’s dedicated game store and launcher.

For those who don’t have an Origin account yet, create one first then download the client from the Origin website.

Once the game code is claimed, start the Origin client and head to the “My Game Library” section found on the left side of the UI. On the upper right of the Game Library, click on the Add A Game button and paste the game code on the provided field.

“Battlefield V” should then be available as part of the Game Library, ready to be downloaded.

Non-Prime Gaming subscribers can claim “Battlefield V” for free by signing up for an account and activating the free seven-day trial option provided to new members.

This will grant all users the same perks and benefits given to all subscribers, such as Twitch Prime access, free loot for games like “Genshin Impact” and “Valorant” and more.

This trial can be canceled at any time, and for those who don’t want to get accidentally charged, Amazon provides an automatic cancellation feature at their Prime Video website.

To cancel the subscription’s auto-renewal function, sign in to the Prime Video website then go to the Account & Settings page. Click on the “End Membership” button beside the Prime Video header, then select the “End on [date]” option. This will automatically cancel the subscription at the end of the free trial period.

Despite having a PR nightmare before launching and a rocky post-launch update cycle, “Battlefield V” still sees a decent number of players worldwide on PC, with Steam Charts recording a peak of roughly 30,000 concurrent players in the past 30 days on Steam alone. This number is expected to see a significant rise similar to the sudden spike in “Battlefield 1’s” player population after it was given away for free by Amazon.
