Apple hits back at Nokia
Company tests Nokia N97 Mini
The animosity between Apple and rival smartphone makers keeps escalating over the iPhone 4 "antennagate" conference. This time, Apple is hitting back at Nokia, which indirectly criticized the iPhone 4 by saying that it designs phones "to ensure acceptable performance in all real life cases."
In response to Nokia's statement, Apple posted pictures and a video showing that the Nokia N97 Mini exhibits similar signal reception problems when held in a certain way.
Apple put up its evidence on the apple.com/antenna Web page, which was made to show the public that antenna reception problems are not limited to the iPhone 4. The Web page also contains product tests on the Droid Eris, the Samsung Omnia II and the iPhone 3GS.
