Kim Vuga, the founder of Love Australia or Leave Party, proudly pronounced her “anti-Islam” stand and said that the recently formed Australian Muslim Party would only further divide the nation. Diaa Mohammed, the founder of Australia’s first Muslim party, said that the party would represent Muslims in the country and aims at contesting the senate seats at the upcoming federal elections.

"We're already a nation divided. We haven't sorted out the Muslim issue. Our cultures are incompatible and we need to be sorting out the Muslim problem that exists here before we take any more [refugees and Muslim immigrants]," Vuga told the Fairfax Media. "I will be interested to see what their policies are but to go ahead and form a party for Muslims is segregating themselves further."

The Australian Muslim Party revealed its intention to field its candidates for the next federal elections on Monday. It is also looking forward to contest for seats in the upper house at the state levels.

"There are a lot of parties out there to specifically oppose Islam and Muslims, yet Muslims don't have any official representation," Mohammed said.

The news about the formation of the Australian Muslim Party have reached the five most significant anti-Islam political parties, including One Nation, led by Pauline Hanson, Nick Folkes’ Party for Freedom and the recently constituted Australian Liberty Alliance.

Ralf Schumann of Australian Liberty Alliance, however, admitted that the Australian Muslim Party has been rightfully formed and that his party is not against the Muslims but is critical of Islam.

"There's biology and there's ideology," he said. "It's like saying you hate the Germans because you can't stand the Nazis or you hate the Chinese because you can't stand the Communists. It doesn't make sense," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted him as saying.
