ZTE is reportedly already hard at work at unveiling its very first handset model for 2016. The company has already launched several smartphones this year, but leaked renders of the Nubia Z11 suggests that a new one is coming sooner than expected.

Tech Times reports that leaked renders of ZTE's upcoming smartphone have made their way to the Internet. Based on the images that came with the leak, it does not look like the device is going to feature any side bezels.

This does not automatically mean that the device will come out sporting a curved display. It only means that the Nubia Z11's screen will be extended further to its sides with the use of arc Refractive Conduction (aRC), which works by hiding the screen display's edges.

CNBeta, a Chinese online publication, showed the upcoming Nubia Z11 in multiple angles. If the leak turns out to be true, then ZTE's upcoming mobile device is going to feature a fingerprint scanner at its back, right under its camera's flash feature.

The Nubia Z11 is expected to come out of the box sporting a 5.2-inch display with a 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it will reportedly have 4 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is the same one that is going to be featured in the next-generation Samsung Galaxy S7. In addition to a 20.7 megapixel primary camera on its rear with a dual tone LED flash, it will also boast a 13 megapixel selfie taker.

The device is also expected to have 128 GB of internal storage. Considering that the Nubia Z9 did not feature a slot for a Micro SD card, avid ZTE tech users are hoping that the upcoming smartphone is going to feature one for expanded storage.
