Here is a ray of hope for One Direction fans who are crying over Zayn Malik quitting the boyband. Zayn is still in One Direction in a parallel universe and is probably married to on of his girl fans, says famed British physicist Stephen Hawking. The world famous physicist replied to one of the questions he was asked during his Sydney Opera House talk over the weekend.

“What do you think is the cosmological effect of Zayn leaving One Direction and consequently breaking the hearts of millions of teenage girls across the world?” was the question that was posed to Hawking by a female audience member, when he appeared via hologram at the said event. The renowned cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge gave an answer that was quite unexpected from a person of his age and calibre. The scientist also appeared happy at the prospect of answering that question, writes The Independent.

“My advice to any heartbroken young girl is to pay close attention to the study of theoretical physics, because one day there may well be proof of multiple universes,” answered Hawking. He called it as an “important question.” He then answered that it is quite possible that “somewhere outside of our own universe lies another different universe – and in that universe, Zayn is still in One Direction.”

Hawking further told the girl that she “may like to know that in another possible universe, she and Zayn are happily married.” Zayn announced his decision to quit One Direction some time back saying that he wants to lead a normal life. However, if we go by Hawking's words, the singer is still in a band in some other cosmic universe.

Girl fans of the singer went into a tizzy following the news of the singer quitting the boy band. Twitter was flooded with messages from teenage girls who cried and asked Zayn to join the band again. The singer has however not changed his decision and there is speculation in the media that he is going solo.
