"Yes, the pair of 20-year-old British pop music sensations are tying the knot!" Perez Hilton blogs of the confirmed news. Mirror.co.uk reported Zayn Malik's future mum-in-law has given the engagement her full approval. Meanwhile, E! Online teased fans about Perrie Edwards' ring on Twitter.

"They got engaged on Sunday and it's absolutely lovely. It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces," Perrie's mum was quoted on Perez Hilton's blog.
