Zac Efron truly loves his fans. And one of those fans has just felt the warmth of his embrace and the sweetness of his affection when the former “High School Musical” star singled her out to thank her on his Instagram page.

The 26-year-old actor met his fan, Kirby Koo during a Q&A portion at the Facebook headquarter in California with his “That Awkward Moment” co-stars Michael B Jordan and Miles Teller on Tuesday.

Koo wasn’t just any other Efron fan, though. She was the one who managed to make such a lasting impression on her idol that he had to write a heartfelt and very emotional letter to her.

In the video her cousin posted on YouTube, it can be seen that Koo was really nervous when she asked Efron for a hug. And to her delight, she wasn’t denied of her request. Efron left his chair on the stage to come to her and give her a lingering embrace.

Efron appeared to be humbled by Koo’s brave adoration. He even thanked her in the end for her sincerity.

Efron posted his photos embracing Koo on his Instagram page, writing a lengthy caption to tell Koo how he felt.

“I have so much more I want to say. And I will – when I find the words,” the actor started.

“When you stood up, with such strength, and sincerity and gave me perhaps the nicest compliment I’ve been paid... it meant so much more than that to me.

“@Facebook and online media in general, show only half the picture – sure people see me, but I never get to see them. Yesterday was the first time in a very long time that I was able to look into your eyes and remember why I do what I do – and will never stop. I needed that, more than you will ever know and just wanted to say thanks – face to face soon I hope. :)”

If Koo was delighted with her face-to-face encounter with her idol, she must have been euphoric when Efron wrote the letter to her.

She responded on her Facebook page, “No words can describe what I’m describing right now. So genuine, so kind. Pretty sure this reaction is beyond what a crazed fan could ever imagine in their wildest dreams.”
