Spoiler alert! This article contains “The Young and the Restless” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the new episode airs.

The brief episode synopsis on She Knows Soaps reveals that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will go ahead and try to convince Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) to meet up with their son Connor Newman (Michael and Nolan Webb). Then, a long and gruesome issue gets settled as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) finds himself a free man.

Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni), on the other hand, decides that Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson), indeed, is the right one for her. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) however, pays Victor a sudden visit. Lastly, Jill Atkinson (Jess Walton) admits her desire for Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and Billy to run Brash & Sassy together. The audience might also see Katherine Chancellor (Jeane Cooper) ascend the stairs for the last time.

More details are spilled in a separate advanced recap by She Knows Soaps, revealing that Phyllis will take the stand during Victor’s hearing, despite attempts by Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman) to stop her. She then reveals how, allegedly, Victor destroyed her life while pressing that her deserves every minute and second of his sentence.

Victor, on the other hand, rebuts her claim by stating that he took no pleasure in Phyllis’ suffering and says he has been changed by prison and would like to get the chance to prove the same. Jack, however, does not believe that Victor has improved but wants him to be free for his wife’s sake. Eventually, Victor is set free with a warning that he is on conditional probation for two years.

At Billy’s place, Cane reveals that he is there about the renovations and that Brash & Sassy is doing great. Billy then wonders about Jill’s motives. Jill then rants about Billy making it vulnerable and giving it to Cane so the venture would succeed.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every Monday to Friday in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia .
