'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) spoilers for Dec 5: Mariah confronts Hilary; Chloe gets upset over Kevin; Nick makes a mistake with Christian

An interview gets scandalously edited and this sets the situation on fire on "The Young and the Restless." Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) inadvertently feeds Christian something he is allergic to not knowing about his condition.

On Monday, December 5, on “The Young and the Restless,” Mariah Copeland (Gamryn Grimes) will Confront Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) about altering Dylan McAvoy’s (Steve Burton) interview. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gets upset that Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) went in her closet. Nick will holler at Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) and Dylan for failing to tell him Christian had food allergies.
Mariah will be griping about Hilary’s sleazy move, writes Soaps She Knows. Hilary had decided earlier that Dylan’s interview just did not hit her sweet spot so she tweaked it to her own pleasure along with some scandalous editing. As a result, it now looks like Dylan is standing against Sharon.
Mariah will be vocal about everything there being twisted, but Hilary will not care at all. She will argue that that’s how it works and that she is the boss. Hilary will insist that she knows what she is doing and that she knows exactly how to run GC Buzz and she does not need other people’s input. She will tell Mariah to know her place.
This kind of behaviour will not be acceptable to Mariah so it is very likely that she will take these issues to Devon -- since he really is GC Buzz’s big boss. Hilary just likes to think that she is running the company but Devon bankrolls operation.
As Hilary will remain hard headed, spoilers say that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will end up firing her when she deliberately refuses to cooperate. This is not what Devon had in mind when he started covering Genoa City’s gossip. Hilary of course, does not agree at all with her husband’s vision for his company.
This upcoming episode of “The Young and the Restless” will air on CBS this coming Monday December 5 in the US. It will also air on Arena in Australia.
