'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) spoilers for Dec 16: Jack Tells Cane, Victoria, Billy to clear out; Victor makes Noah feel welcome; Nikki and Victor talk about the future

The year is about to end. However, this might not necessarily mean that pleasant things are up for the motley set of characters on “The Young and the Restless.”

On the December 16 episode of “Y&R,” Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will tell Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that they have to be all cleared out before New Year’s Eve. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will let Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) know that he is welcome with open arms at Newman. Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) dyes her hair in another color.
Nikki Newman (Melody Scott) and Victor share some intimate insights about what lies ahead of them. Victoria will lose control. Phyllis will decide to go forth with a different aura.
Jack will not notice Phyllis’ new look. Phyllis will announce that she will be heading somewhere else. An ally will help Lauren Fenmore (Tracery Bergman) get Fenmore back to where he belongs.
Soaps She Knows reveals that Lauren’s business issues could lead to another brand new opportunity for Jack and Phyllis. This could mean a storyline switch later on that could give unexpected results.
Everyone is excited for what the New Year will bring, since 2016 had not been to kind. However, it looks like such is not necessarily the case for Cain, Victoria and Billy when they get told off by Jack to have their things cleared out. How this will turn out for them remains to be seen.
As for Phyllis, she has always been known to be one of those characters in “The Young and the Restless” whom viewers did not like too much. This domineering and unpredictable lady who slept with her husband’s brother could be that soap character that viewers love to hate. However, as she sports a new look and comes off with a new attitude, viewers might see what that means for her and the rest of the cast.
This upcoming episode of “The Young and the Restless” will air on December 16, Friday, in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
