CBS released a preview video for the May 23 episode of “The Young and the Restless.” On the first scene, Luca tells Victoria, “I know what it’s like to be dismissed, but it would be a mistake for you to do that with Summer. She’s a direct conduit to Victor.” Nikki is seen on another part of the video, as she looks at some papers. “Everything seems to be as you requested it,” Michael says. The trailer also shows Summer, who pays a visit to Victor in prison. “Grandma is filing for divorce,” Summer reveals.

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of "Y&R," Mariah drops a bombshell on Kevin, while Nick blasts at Victor. Meanwhile, Chelsea puts herself on the line for the sake of her family’s protection.

Wednesday’s run centres on the first episode of “The Young and the Restless” new cast member, Chrishell Stause, who plays Bethany Bryant. Elsewhere, emotions run high between Victor and Adam, while Phyllis and Jack reconnect.

On Thursday, Devon gets infuriated with Hilary, while Billy turns his affections towards someone else. Jill comes home to Genoa City, to the surprise of her family.

Wrapping the week on May 27, Summer turns to Luca during a difficult ordeal, while Jill reels from something that she finds out. Meanwhile, Victoria fights her feelings for Travis.

"The Young and the Restless" recap

Last week, Meredith reprimands Victor for hiding his bandaged hand from her. Whilst she claimed to make things professional between them, Victor did not back off and pulled her for a kiss. Speaking of romantic gestures, Stitch and Abby shamelessly flirt at the park. He apologised for driving her away, and promised not to do it again. Meanwhile, Billy recalled making love with Phyllis and went to drive his motorcycle. He saw Phyllis at the park, and the sight of her didn’t exactly help his plan to forget about her. Phyllis told him to leave her alone, but Billy said she makes him crazy. She said they can’t destroy the family with what they’ve done, to which Billy replied, “This is real.” He then kissed her hungrily.
