'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for July 27, 2016: Lauren confronts Cane, Phyllis gets defensive, a surprise awaits Billy

Several surprises, sweet moments and the usual heavy drama await fans of the long running American daytime soap opera “The Young and the Restless.” The episode will be aired on July 27, 2016.

A brief episode recap in a post by Soaps She Knows reveals that on Wednesday’s episode, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) gets confrontational with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) regarding to his decision to leave her company. Jill Abbot (Jess Walton), on the other hand, wants to clear things up when she asks Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni) for an explanation. Phyllis goes on full defence when provoked regarding her conduct.

Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) then gets a little shocked when Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), whom he has not seen for a very long time, suddenly appears at his doorstep. Lastly, Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) make some serious plans regarding their future.

While nothing much has been revealed for the next episode, more teasers are shown by TV Source Magazine. There, it is also revealed that Tristan Rogers would appear as Colin Atkinson for the episode to be aired on Wednesday.

The post also features a gallery of photos for the episodes to be shown for the week, some of which might be stills for Wednesday, which includes several intense confrontations and some sweet pictures of Hilary and Devon. It even includes one that shows the couple about to share a kiss.
