It’s definitely going to be a big week in Genoa City as the upcoming episodes of “ The Young and The Restless” (“Y&R”) feature shocking developments. This week, things are about to heat up, starting with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Jack (Peter Bergman). Seeing him with Gloria (Judith Chapman), Phyllis suspects that Jack is planning a devious scheme and wastes no time confronting him about it.

Spoilers suggest that Phyllis shares this information with Lauren (Tracey Bregman). Speaking of Lauren, she’ll reunite with an old flame, Eric Forrester (John McCook) from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” who will pay her a visit. Other “The Young and the Restless” characters to watch out for this week include Sharon (Sharon Case), Cane (Daniel Goddard), Billy (Jason Thompson), Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Paul (Doug Davidson), Dylan (Steve Burton), Christine (Laralee Bell), Jill (Jess Walton), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Lily (Christel Khalil).

CBS has posted a sneak peek of “Y&R” for Monday’s episode. In the trailer, Hilary tells Lily, “This isn’t about me, this is about Devon, and that’s why I need your help.” Meanwhile, Phyllis bumps into Gloria clinging on to Jack. Phyllis asks, “You and Gloria?” Gloria traces a finger down Jack’s cheek and replies, “Can’t believe you let this one get away. He’s a real tiger. Rawr!” Elsewhere, Kevin informs Christine and Paul, “It’s reasonable to assume that something might have gone wrong.” Paul wonders what happens if Dylan’s cover is blown.

TV Guide reports that Tuesday’s installment focuses on Victoria, who puts Reed in his place. Lily, on the other hand, hears out an interesting proposal. Meanwhile, Jill admits a shocking truth. On Wednesday, “Y&R” features Christine, who is determined to accomplish something. Elsewhere, Jack throws Gloria a curveball, while Lauren sets out for a sweet revenge.

Thursday’s episode deals with Reed who opens up to Nikki, as well as Paul as he worries that Dylan is in grave danger. Cane, on the other hand, blows his top and confronts Billy. For its last salvo this week, the soap centres on Eric Forrester’s reunion with Lauren in Genoa City. Meanwhile, Sharon faces a life-changing situation.
