'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for Jan. 23, 2017: Hilary seeks Lily’s help; Kevin, Paul and Christine worry; Gloria reveals that she and Jack have been seeing each other

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) might have already given up of his wife, but it looks like Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) will not do so too easily. On this coming episode, Hilary will get desperate as she seeks help in trying to get a message across. Meanwhile, Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will try to lead Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) somewhere as they carry out their plans.

On the January 23 episode of Y&R, Hilary gets desperate as she seeks Lily’s help. Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will start to worry that something has gone wrong. Gloria will mislead Phyllis to think that she and Jack have been seeing each other.

It is revealed that Hilary will refuse to give up on her marriage. She might have been on the leading edge before, but her lies eventually caught up with her when Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) comments brought back Devon’s memories. This got her some lashing before getting dumped and, now, it looks like she would have to face life without Devon.

Fortunately, Hilary is not a quitter and she will do whatever it takes to get what she wants, writes Soaps She Knows. This time, her future with Devon hangs on the line. Earlier, Hilary tripped Mariah on camera for the advancement of her career; but she later realises that this was meaningless. At this point, all that matters to her is Devon.

Sadly, Devon wants Hilary out of his life and might cut off all communication between them. This will push Hilary to seek Lily’s help to get a message to him. Lily might be hesitant to do that since Hilary’s downfall is exactly what Lily wanted to happen. She might agree that Devon is in a lot of pain; but could agree that letting go of Hilary was the best thing to do.

This episode of “The Young and the Restless” will air on CBS on Jan. 23 in the US. It will also air on Arena in Australia.
