"The Young and the Restless" is set to air all-new exciting episodes in the week of Dec. 1-5. The long-running daily soap opera will feature some highly anticipated moments, revealing the answers to burning questions. Drama escalates and tension rises when some unexpected developments take place. Here are few spoilers on Dec. 1-5 episodes of "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R). "The Young and the Restless" picks up from where it left off on Nov. 26 episode, which focussed on Nick's journey of self-introspection. Soap Central has presented detailed spoilers on the upcoming segments. According the report, Victoria learns who the father of her child is.

Meanwhile, Nikki receives an unexpected call from Maureen. She insists Nikki to meet her alone. She blackmails Nikki about exposing her drinking problem to her family. In turn, Nikki threatens Maureen and tells her that she will inform the police about the murder she committed.

Elsewhere, Adam decides to keep the identity of Gabriel for Grandmother Constance and the dog Bugatti. However, he starts to feel Bugatti may not let him accomplish what he planned.

Sage comes across an "unconscious man in the woods with his foot caught in bear trap." Immediately, Sage asks Adam to assist her in saving Nick, while he struggles with the injury in the woods.

Nick and Adam, the two brothers, reunite. However, Adam is shocked to see his brother in the forest, wounded so badly. He informs Sage that the injured man is his brother. It seems things get worse for Nick as the report suggests that Nick will fight for his life.

Back in Genoa City, Summer confronts Sharon about all her wrongdoings. Michael learns more about his disease and realises he must get himself treated. Meanwhile, Lily invites her family for a lunch and she insists Devon to get a girlfriend, so Hilary finds one for him. She chooses Gwen who works as an accountant at Jabot as Devon's date to the family get-together.

Devon finds Gwen too shy and not convincing. As per the report, Gwen has some ulterior motives to be part of the plan. In the end, it all falls apart. The plan backfires at the luncheon. Meanwhile, Phyllis resumes her job at Jabot. The report notes that when she gets back to her workplace, she shakes things up.

Chelsea's faith in her relationship with Billy starts to dwindle. She worries about her future in the wake of the birth of Victoria's baby. Meanwhile, Mariah opens up to Kevin about her past and Dylan receives threats. Also, Michael makes the big revelation to his wife that leaves her devastated. Things get worse for the couple when they face their greatest challenge.

Furthermore, Kelly lashes out at Jack, and Victoria learns about Stitch's lies. Meanwhile, Stitch and Ashley continue to suppress their feelings for each other. The week also sees the return of Adam Newman to Genoa City. Moreover, in a shocking twist of events, Joe and Avery make peace.
