Here they come again. Your favourite sitcom, "Friends," will be available for streaming from Jan. 1, 2015. For the first time on a streaming site, you can watch all 10 seasons and 236 episodes whenever you wish! Even as its fans have wowed the series after the tenth anniversary of the finale, Netflix announced that it is putting it all up, according to Time.

Warner Bros' CEO Kevin Tsujihara said that it has licensed the series to Netflix. The TV show that made legends of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer looks set to become evergreen.

The immensely popular NBC sitcom is currently available on syndicated television. Every season has different shows with varying tones. The option of selecting a low-drama episode in which the friends hang together, or another one featuring the Rachel-Ross-Joey love triangle, for instance, would be satisfying to watch. The comedy's first show was telecast on Sept. 22, 1994 with 22 million viewers, according to deadline.com. Such an audience for a new comedy is unthinkable today, due to its diverse platforms. Just 50 percent of such an audience would be considered a hit now.

The 20th anniversary of "Friends" premiere was honoured this year. The series that hit the market from 1994-2004 and was aired on NBC's Thursday night, became part of Warner Bros. TV idea to have a big celebration. They created a replica of Friends' signature Central Perk coffee shop giving out free Eight O' Clock Coffee in Manhattan, SoHo, since Sept. 17 through Saturday. Many waited to sit on the "infamous orange couch" according to buzzfeed.

Netflix's original offerings increase the number of viewers due to the sheer number of incidents. "House of Cards" and "Orange Is the New Black" are end-on-the-seat sitcoms that draw viewers due to the complicated plots. But "Friends" exposes another kind of experience, in which there is a lot of excitement due to not much happening, yet eminently watchable. They may be as simple as episodes in which they keep squabbling over apartments, yet they raise the viewer's excitement to fever pitch, even if he or she knows what will happen.

In honor of the new streaming series, Netflix has released a special musical announcement, with two well-known voices and blonde barista. The song is courtesy of The Rembrandts, at Central Perk Pop Up in New York.
