'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage': Vin Diesel trains hard for movie; shares pictures
Vin Diesel has been training hard to stay in shape for his forthcoming movie “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.” Filming of the movie has begun and the actor has started sharing some behind-the-scenes pictures from the production set.

The actor posted a picture of him with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone on his official Facebook page. Details about Padukone’s character in the movie are still being kept under wraps.
Diesel previously shared a picture of him posing with a dirt bike. The black and white picture may remind the fans about an action sequence in the 2002 movie, in which the actor played the role of the spy for the first time. Diesel was not a part of the 2005 sequel “xXx: State of the Union” starring Ice Cube in the lead role.
Following the lackluster performance of the 2005 movie at the box office, fans hope the return of Diesel in the lead role will revive the franchise. The actor’s 2015 movie “Furious 7” was a major box office hit.
The actor has been training hard at the gym to get ready to play the lead role in the action packed “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.” He shared a picture of him working out in the gym and another picture of him on a treadmill on Jan. 28th.
Samuel L. Jackson will be reprising his role as Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons. Agent Gibbons was the one who recruited Xander in the 2002 movie to work for the government, by promising to wipe his crime records clean. He had also threatened to put Xander in prison for the crimes he committed, if he refused the offer.
Action star Jet Li will be one of the cast members in “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.” It is not clear if Cube will be one of the cast members. The movie is being directed by D.J. Caruso and is slated to be released in 2017.
