Xiaomi is yet to announce the Redmi 4 smartphone but rumours and leaks that have surfaced online have thrown light on its specs and features. As per the leaks, the Redmi 4 will sport a metal uni-body design with a metallic finish.

As per GSMArena, unconfirmed reports have suggested that the Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 4,100 mAh battery, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 could have a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will be multi-touch enabled with MIUI 8. The graphics processor that would be used in the Redmi 4 would be an Adreno 506.

The second SIM slot in the Xiaomi Redmi 4 could be used as a microSD slot that can increase memory up to 256GB. The 13MP primary camera has LED flash and phase detection autofocus along with other features such as Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR and panorama. The secondary camera could be of 5MP, writes Digit.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 may come with a fingerprint sensor and fast battery charging technology. It could be made available in four colour options namely gold, dark gray and silver.

Thus, as is evident, the Redmi 4 could be boasting some modern specs and features with the huge battery as the most focused feature. High pixel density, Full HD Display and Gorilla Glass coating will also make the smartphone highly desirable.

The 3GB RAM, Adreno 506 GPU and Snapdragon processor are also expected to make Xiaomi Redmi 4 a multitasking genius. Moreover, gaming enthusiasts may find the handset interesting for its heavy-duty features. The device will reportedly feature FM Radio and that is good news for the radio addicts.
