Recently, a smartphone was spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench and tech experts and Xiaomi fans believe it is the new version of the Mi Mix handset, known as Xiaomi Mi Mix Evo. The handset has been revealed as being running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The listing suggests that the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.9GHz. It will come with a 4GB RAM and run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Bezel-less displays are quickly turning out to be the next big thing in the smartphone industry. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Evo is expected to sport top of the line specs and features though it will most likely sport a similar design like the Mi Mix. According to GSMArena, the Mi Mix Evo is rumoured to have a 6.4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels. The device may run on Android 7.0 Nougat and could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and Adreno 540 GPU.

There are also speculations suggesting that the Xiaomi Mi Mix Evo will be available in two internal storage variants, 128GB with a 4GB RAM and 256GB with a 6GB RAM. It may have a primary camera of 16MP with f/2.0, EIS (gyro), phase detection autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The selfie camera could be of 5MP. A rear-mounted fingerprint scanner is also expected along with Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. The handset may come with a massive 4,400 non-removable Li-Ion battery.

Other reports suggest that the Xiaomi Mi Mix Evo could have a 5.5-inch bezel-less display, 16MP + 4MP dual sensor with dual tone flash rear camera and 8MP sensor in the selfie camera.
