Xiaomi's Mi 5 will be present at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 tech event that will be held on Feb. 24 in Barcelona. The Chinese manufacturer will launch the Xiaomi Mi 5 in China on the same date. However, at the MWC 2016 event, Xiaomi will only be carrying out a media preview of the smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi 5 launch event will be also live streamed on YouTube.

Xiaomi Mi 5 is undoubtedly one of the most awaited flagship smartphones of this year, after Xiaomi released the well-received Xiaomi Mi 4 in 2014. The fans of the Chinese company were expecting it to release a Mi 4 successor in 2015, but this did not eventuate, and after several months of rumours, Xiaomi Mi 5 is finally going to be announced on Feb. 24.

What Time Will The Xiaomi Mi 5 Launch Begin?

Xiaomi confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5 by sending out invitations to its the Feb. 24 event. In China, the smartphone will be unveiled at the China Convention Centre. What To Expect From Xiaomi Mi 5 Rumours:

Xiaomi Mi 5 will be arriving with a 5.2-inch full HD display. It will be fueled by Snapdragon 820. Its 32 GB and 64 GB storage models are expected to feature 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM, respectively.

The Mi 5 will also arrive with a 16-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel selfie shooter for photography. It will be powered by a 3600 mAh battery. There is no confirmation whether the Mi 5 will be readily available in the US or Europe as the company is mainly known for selling its smartphones in Asian countries, Phone Arena reported.
