Xiaomi has uploaded a teaser image on all major social networking sites stating that it is going to introduce a new device on Jan. 15. As it turns out, Xiaomi will reportedly be launching two new devices instead of one. In addition, a tweet from a tipster showcases a new device called "Xiaomi Mi5 Plus."

The new teaser image says the following, "___ is better than one," and this line is followed by two hands gesturing as if they are holding two invisible phones. Therefore, reports state that, apart from introducing the flagship device Xiaomi Mi5, the company might also introduce the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 on Jan. 15, according to Phone Arena.

When it comes to display, the Xiaomi Mi5 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will likely feature a 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch display sizes, respectively. The screen resolution of both the handsets is reported to be 1080p. It is worth noting that, alleged images of the Xiaomi Mi5 has been leaked recently, showcasing the sleek and killer looking device like never-before. Other than posting the teaser image, Xiaomi also published a video focusing on the reactions of its employees to the flagship device. [Scroll down to watch the video.] As far as the key Xiaomi Mi5 specifications go, the handset will reportedly be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip, seen in the predecessor. The back panel of the device has been reportedly built with plastic material and hence they are fingerprint and smudge prone. Plus, the 13 MP rear-facing camera unit will be accompanied by a dual-LED flash, instead of the regular flash seen in the Mi4.

Moreover, the company might reportedly call the device Xiaomi Mi4S, instead of the widely used Mi5. Speaking of pricing details, the Xiaomi Mi5/Mi4S is rumoured to be priced at US$370 or 2299 yuan.

On the other hand, a new tweet from a tipster named @leaksfly published an image of a device called "Xiaomi Mi5 Plus." Therefore, the number of device names that are making rounds prior to the launch includes the Xiaomi Mi5 or Xiaomi Mi4S, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and now, the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus.
