With the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales officially over, the figures are slowly trickling in. There have been previous reports that pointed to the domination of the Xbox One over its long-standing rival, the PS4.

Gadgets NDTV confirms that this is true-in the U.S., the Xbox One got 53% of the sales during the event, while the PS4 only got 31%. The main reason for this appears to be the bundles and price drops that Microsoft has offered for the event.

The Games Awards 2014 - What Not to Expect

Some people are already looking forward to The Game Awards 2014 for new announcements of games as well as teasers and updates for expected titles coming out in 2015. But for those who are looking forward to hearing surprise announcements of game titles, the Xbox One platform is not one that will deliver at the event.

GameSpot reports that marketing lead for Xbox Aaron Greenberg has confirmed that there will be no surprises for the Xbox One at the event. This may come as a surprise to fans who may have expected something after show producer and host Geoff Keighley announced the world premieres that will be introduced at The Game Awards 2014.

One possible way to look at this is that there may be no surprise exclusives that will be announced. Third party developers may have something up their sleeve for a multi-platform reveal, reports the source.

Check Out Xbox Deals of the Week

One more thing to watch for this week with the Xbox One is its games and add-on deals coming to the Xbox Games Stores. Major Nelson announced over his blog that the sale will last until Dec. 8.

The Xbox One has "Metro" titles on sale, all at 33% off. These titles are "Metro 2033 Redux," "Metro Last Light Redux" and "Metro Redux Bundle."

The Xbox 360 has quite the longer list of games with varied discounts of up to 75% off the titles. The sale also features a mix of game titles and expansions. Some of the games on the list include "Saints Row IV," "Dead Island Riptide," "Killer is Dead," "Disney/Pixar: Brave the Video Game," "LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game" and "Cars 2: The Video Game."
