Members of the preview program for the Xbox One have something to explore once more. Microsoft has just released the first wave of features coming with the Xbox One May System Update.

However, according to DualShockers, it’s not as expansive as this month’s update. For the most part, the first wave consists of fixes for some identified issues. This includes an audio-related issue when using the Digital TV Tuner currently available in the U.S. and Canada. There is also a changes that will assist the investigation of Microsoft for any issues involving Voice Messaging.

Bear in mind that this is the first wave for the Xbox One May System update. Xbox’s Major Nelson has already assured users via Twitter that there will be more features coming for May for the system update. The setup may be similar to the April Xbox One System update, which rolled out features and updates to the console separately within the month.

In the meantime, both Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners can enjoy the new batch of games coming with This Week’s Deals with Gold. Announced via Major Nelson’s blog, the deals will be available until April 20, so best get the games while they are offered at discounted prices.

The Xbox One is getting four main franchise titles, starting with “Metro.” Three games from the franchise, “Metro 2033 Redux,” “Metro: Last Light Redux” and “Metro Redux Bundle” are discounted. The former two games have a 40% discount while the last one is at a 50% discount. The other three titles are “NHL 15” and “The Evil Within” at 50% discount and “Defense Grid 2” at 75% discount.

Similar titles are coming to the Xbox 360, though with slightly different discounts for some. All at 50% discount, there are four games in total for the Xbox 360. These are “Metro: Last Light,” “Metro 2033,” “NHL 15” and “The Evil Within.”

For fans who want to play the new games on the Xbox One, the Deals with Gold comes at an opportune time. The Xbox One is recently being offered at another marked down price for the U.K. Players in that territory can now get the Xbox One for £300. Note that while this new price for the Xbox One is now the official price of the console, Engadget stated that the deal may only be temporary, unless it follows the U.S. permanent price cut.
